➪ What is the job about?
The process engineer will be in charge of the SMT line, Backend (TH, wires, coating,..), Mechanical, Assembly and Functional Test processes.
This role ensures that production is carried out based on the manufacturing order issued by the manufacturing manager. The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring product traceability, from raw material to final product.
The Process Engineer is also responsible for the team of operators that develop the production tasks, so should provide the necessary training to perform these activities, develop work instructions sufficiently legible to develop the tasks entrusted. On the other hand, they must provide the operators with all the equipment, tools and protective equipment, both individual and collective.
What will you do?
- Generate manufacturing documentation and procedures.
- Review and approve HW and mechanical design documentation.
- Support the Quality department in audits.
- Perform defect and failure analyses for the production process.
- Program SMT machines (P&P, Oven, AOI, SPI, Jet Printer, x-Ray)
- Manage the soldering and repairing process.
- Develop design for manufacturability (DFM) guidelines and drive change into PCBA design.
- Lead improvements in process yield, quality, cycle time, inventory accuracy and delivery.
- Foreign object damage prevention and awareness.
➪ What profile are we looking for?
Mandatory:
- Industrial, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Advanced in English.
- Able to read schematics.
- Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- At least 5 years of experience in the production of electronic systems.
- Advanced IPC/EIA J-STD-001 knowledge.
- Ability to define requirements for equipment and process control.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office (or similar) and other software applications.
- Ability to identify hazards related to its activities and operating environment (technical, environmental, human and related to organizational factors), and involve all key personnel and relevant stakeholders. Be proactive in reporting them internally.
Valuable:
- IPC A-600, IPC A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/21, IPC J-STD-001 Certificated.
- Specific knowledge in PCB/Electronics CAD Design software.
- Specific knowledge in EASA Part 21 (Subpart G) and Part 145 regulations.
